Ruger Wrangler?

My local gun shop has some of the new Ruger Wrangler revolvers. I handled one the other day and discovered that the frame is aluminum.

So the question I have is, could this gun be used as a base for any type of conversion ala Trail Gun? I doubt the aluminum frame would handle a 10mm Auto but I am wondering if something like a 32 HR or 250 GNR?

Thanks

my local shop has them at 195 dollars. I do not see too many inexpensive Ruger SS revolvers for sale to do a conversion. Thanks for the quick answer

A friend sent me an Italian alloy frame .22

That sported a little thinner spot at the rear of the top strap for an adj. sight. It broke clean through at that spot. I figure it was the .22 Mag. Cyl. That did it. Rimfires seem to have a bit of back thrust of their own. It’s psi distributed over the area of the case head.
