I had one of the early HS2000's, it was not marked Springfield, forget who was importing them back then. It was not as refined as the Glocks, but could not be faulted in function. I like the XD's and they have great sights. This will make you smarter than your average Bear.

Alternative for those looking at the G30s. Some folks just don’t want a Glock. My wife really dislikes them, her weak wrists really give her lots of flip compared to the Beretta which stays rock steady. Go figure.

I watched her “jam” my $800 SIG on EVERY round! I took it and it worked flawless. Back to her, jam!

As the discussion on small guns, you reach a point where the size really imparts the shootability compared to a gun just a little bit bigger. CCW class had folks struggling with pocket carry rigs qualifying where those using G19 size guns were tearing it up!

I carry a Walter P99 AS just to be different. Even there, the PPQ is probably better. Dare say as it copies the G19 even more. Lol
