It's totally her rig. She wants me to get it engraved "Kindness", all her idea. I am reminded Puffy had a rig he called "Painless", a good memory. Anyway killing with "Kindness" is her idea. She also wants a Sweet looking Pussycat! I told her while doable, it might be a stretch. lol

I need to send it to you.

It has stock sights and that horrible safety. I tried to talk her in to a Skinner rear sight (so Daddy can shoot it - work up good handloads you know), kill two birds with one stone.

no problem with the Kindness or pussycat

Andy Strause always wants me to put a pussy cat on his guns.

Why, Picasso, why?

I would have missed out on lots of fun. I really try not to get in the way of others making their own gun choices. Always there to interject my view but I'm not pushy. LOL

I set her up with the .357 with the carbine, have her a S&W 686 and M60 too. I figure I could steer her in a direction at least. Prefers leverguns and wheelguns.

SMART GIRL!

lever actions. Every one that I can remember was super smooth and they were considerably less expensive than the marlin or Winchester. That early Puma was a really nice lever action.

If Marlin were making..

.. a 44 Mag trapper in stainless and walnut I'd have already gotten one. I saw the Rossi 20" guns a the local shop and the seemed really nice. They're locating a Stainless gun for me.

I'm quite happy with these Marlin's.

I passed up one in 454 over $50 at a show once. I was regretting that a little on the ride home. Still, I rather have a 480 any day.

I had Gary vapor hone and engrave hogs on the SS one, but

I have never fired it yet. Still new. The blued one I shot some and its super accurate with the factory 325gr XTP's and handles really well. Those 480Ruger leverguns are pretty rare with just a small handful made in blue and SS. I never seen any other than the 2 I have.

So I guess Bill is a no-go?
