I appreciate all the guidance. Based on the amount of response, I get the impression that the 375GNR is not a popular round for hogs, though it would be effective under the proper circumstances. I'm a neck shooter on hogs so I'm going to try out the 375GNR and report back the results. I still love the GA and SC swamps at night with night vision and .308, though. I have a 44 mag Redhawk sans Garretts with tritium sights as a back up. Those sights rock. I've had hogs walk by the stand at spitting range more than once. A rifle with a night scope isn't as handy as a revolver with the night sights for quick, CQB with a big boar on the prowl for sows by the feeder. Thanks again for the guidance on ammo choice, Scotty.
