Has anyone had any experience with one of the 1875 Remington
Revolvers by Uberti, Taylor’s, Cimarron,etc.?
If memory serves, wasn’t the original Remington just offered in 44-40?

Ive owned 2 and a 1890

All 3 worked great. The 1875s were 45colt and 1890 357 mag. Never had any issues.

Thank you, I’ll have to look them up!

THE .44-40 CAME ALONG LATER IN THE 1890 AND MAYBE IN THE 1875. DON'T RECALL FOR SURE

I had one in .45 Colt, blue steel, 7 1/2 inch barrel length. I liked it, it was a good shooter. I used it briefly in cowboy action and a friend of mine just had to have it. So we traded and he is still using it. Mine was a solid piece, a little heavy on the trigger though. Let Gary do his magic on a pair for you......
