have to have some type of manual safety, like a transfer bar, one of the base pin type safeties or some other design, but there are lot of guns here in the states that came in before the rule changed, most with just the 5 shot rule of don't carry a live round under the hammer.

Inside the hammer. It looks like an original Colt Hammer, but operates differently.

The firing pin retracts if the trigger isn't held back. Similar to the FA97 in operation.
