that we need to get a super fancy 10mm 1911 for the shoot and to keep on display in the showcase. So between me throwing ideas around and Nate doing the work we have something to start with. This gun is maybe half finished but it is looking good so far. Longslide 10mm with custom comp, one of our own special slides and frames, lots of custom parts and so on. As I said it is about half finished. I will keep you posted as we go along.

as I once was. Plus it is a combat match where we set up 25 or so targets, bad guy targets, hostage targets non kill targets etc and we run down an arroyo with the targets in the brush on both sides, some 10 feet away some 20 yards away, 2 shots per target. You get scored on time plus the clean kills. A kill on a hostage target takes a certain amount of points off your total score. The last couple we have run Nate has kicked my butt but he is also 40 years younger than me. We will have all our guys here in the match, so it is a good Sunday break from all the honey-do's.

slide. We bought out all of the 1911 parts from both companies.We have several safes full, top to bottom of 1911 frames, slides, barrels, plus all the normal small parts. We are going to grind off that finger groove thing on the front of the frame as it doesn't match up with my hand size at all.
That is going to be sweet
