A bunch of like minded sixgunners wanted on all steel, 44 Spl FOR YEARS ... Now we are looking for aluminum to put on it, full circle... I think weight gets overdone a bit... The BALANCE point is the key for me, not overall weight...I like the full weight and the beauty of all blued steel and the 44spl in the 5.5" setup seems like the Sixguns of the decade for Ruger.
If you are cutting Sixguns weight for practical reasons i bet I can find an extra few pounds elsewhere... Usually on their respective arse.
I think I also recall some differences to note in the Bisly due to the frame ears needs ground down on those too.
