Hello All on this fine and clear Saturday.
My Dad's uncle brought back an M-1 Carbine . I recall having a ton of fun playing around with it in the town sand pit( back in the days when northeastern towns did not care if you shot in sandpits)
I was thinking of refinishing the stock. The stock has a very heavy dark lacquer over it. I would like to strip it and have more of the natural wood finish revealed.
I know that the US Govt had Inland make tons of these guns but I am wondering if there is any slight value that can be lost to a refinish job? Thanks for any replies.
