they mentioned a couple of things that rang a bell with me. Now before I go any further let me say this..I am not promoting this nor am I telling you it will save your life. Nuff said..
Now, I have a couple of small health problems and when the media started talking about a malaria medicine to help with the virus it rang a bell with me. I drink a lot of tonic water every day. Two of the things in it are hydrochloride and quinine, both have been mentioned as helpful in keeping the virus at bay. In the picture you will see both of these in the last sentence at the bottom. Now I drink the diet stuff but the regular tonic water will have the same stuff in it. Now it may not work at all for you and we both may be dead next week. This is just a thought and use it as you will.

I hope there isn't a shortage of the malaria med.

I take it daily for an auto immune thing. Just ordered an extra 3 month supply.

That being said I hope it works as the clinical trials are promising.

in Central American and in South America were some form of Quinine in 500 mg tablets. Don't know what the exact formulation was, all I cared about was they were bitter as hell and had to be choked down. They were for preventing Malaria. In the current pandemic my doctor has prescribed 20 tablets each for my wife and I to be taken two per day whenever symptoms occur if God forbid they do. I have talked a lot with my doc and she said that a good multivitamin, especially if you have been taking them for a while, that includes zinc (exact amount has no data for that) will help prevent the virus from attaching to the cells of the upper respiratory system. Best advice is to maintain at least 6 to 8 feet away from other people. For store owners, kick out any customer that appears sick or coughing etc. Your life and the lives of those that care about you are more important than some asshole that exposes everyone else. I have more information that would appear to be conspiracy theory to some so I will not post it on here. It is based on the intel training I had in the Navy and if you are interested let me know.

wash hands, keep hands from face, social distancing are

a hell of a lot more likely to protect your ass than pills once you get it. What was that about an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure? Keep hands clean, keep hands from face...95% prevention right there...social distancing is extra prevention to get to the 100% mark. PREVENTION is the key to survival here...not pills and certainly not listening to conspiracy theories.

AND THAT IS WHY I HESITATED TO MAKE THAT POST!

all quinine water is not the same. some has actual quinine and some flavoring only since a few years back. Look for the stuff with the real quinine, but it may be hard to find. My father used it years ago, and I used it after a bout with Dengue fever in Viet Nam. The malaria pills the gave us were questionable as well, in my case they came out as fast as they went in.

Canada Dry has Quinine

I've been mixing it with juice lately. May not be enough for medicinal value, but then again, it might.

for mosquito season. I'll just start now instead. I wish they made it with a higher quinine content.

LOL. I take 400mg of Hydroxychloroquine everyday. It’s also called plaquenil and is used to treat arthritis. [image]
