A number of state boards are already regulating prescriptions of azithromycin, chloroquine, and hydroxychloroquine in regard to diagnosis and duration, requiring diagnosis information and limiting day supply in order to avoid hoarding. Hopefully this will allow medication to remain available to current patients in need as well as those in the future assuming this combination is effective against COVID-19.
