What a Crappy Day it Turned Into

Started out fine. Wait is too long if you order groceries on line, so my wife decided she would be brave and go to the store. Left early this morning, got a lot of food. Decided to go a couple of other places to keep her from hopefully going back out later. She called me on the way home frantically saying the car had died at an intersection and wouldn’t start again. Luckily she was 1 mile from home, jumped in my son’s car drove there, jumped the car, started right up. As soon as I got everything put away it died again and jumping would not get it started again.
We were blocking traffic, unbelievable how many people pull right up behind when your flashers are going and lay on the horn when the light turns green. Called a tow truck, didn’t take them long to get there, pulled it up on a roll-back, and took it to my house. I took the battery out and will go to Walmart early tomorrow before the crowds and get a new one. I am 99.9999999999% sure that will be all we need. If I remember correctly the battery is pretty old. Forgot to mention it is very cold, rainy and a bit icy here today.
