They can be difficult to tell apart sometimes. The .30 GNR and 7mm are a bit tough as are the 6.5/.257/.240 Raptors. The .356 has a really short neck but is on the .41 Magnum case that is a little bigger than the .300 GNR on the .30/30, which has a bigger rim. The .41 GNR has a little longer neck than the .401 GNR, both on the .44 Magnum case. The much larger .410 GNR (not shown) is on the .454 just like the .429 GNR but has a longer neck also. All of this has caused me some confusion over the years. These are some odd rounds I have laying about. The .510 has a 300 gr. Barnes for the .50-95 WCF, The .440 GNR Magnum sports a custom 300 gr. .430" from HAWK. I was goofing with the .401 GNR and the old 10mm 170 gr. Ideal HP bullet to mimic the hot .38-40. I think that .300 GNR has a .30 Carbine 110 gr. poking out. The big .476 (along with the .440) are real handy to shoot .475 LB/.480 and .44 Magnum pistol bullets from a Encore pistol or Carbine. Not only is it fun due to less recoil but it has the same or more power than the revolver ever could. I think the bullet pictured is a 435 gr. that was NOT fun out of the .475 LB wheelgun. I found a good use for them.
