quite a bit back then. When I was in my early teens my Dad and I would go hunting and I would carry a little 22 revolver crossdraw and one of my Dad's Sears J.C. Higgins 22 rifles also. More than once when he was ready to go squirrel hunting he would say "ready to go 2 gun Pete"? I never realized there was such a person until today.
