Is 300 $ a decent price for the frame?
I assume it is a used frame as $300 is way under dealer cos

so if has not been tampered with and comes with decent grip and forend, then that is a decent price. But if it is a used frame, check it out good.

done any "action" work on it. Look inside to see if there are any scratches inside the action. Look at the front of the action and the flat bar that is at the very front. If it has been dinged or dented from overly hot loads there will be an impression on the top of the flat front of the action. If all those are clear then it should be fine.
