Reeder Custom Guns - Blue Loc-Tite

I asked about Loc-Tite a couple of days ago to secure grip frame and ejector rod housing screws. I found this in my toolbox, is it the right stuff to use? The liquid itself is blue.

gun to gun so why worry about taking a base off. This way I know that my base is going to stay on. And if it is one of my heavy kickers I use a green pea dab of 2 part epoxy under my base. For gripframe and ejector rod use I again use red Lok Tite. Like I mentioned above I don't switch scopes, gripframes or housings on my guns so why use a medium strength Lok Tite. We got a 429 GNR revolver in yesterday where the 2 rear screws on the gripframe had sheared off clean.If you let the screws work loose that is what is going to happen. With red I don't have to check my gripframe screws or housing screw before I go out hunting. Just one less thing to go wrong.

the 44 Mag or heavier I have had the vibrations of the recoil shake the blue Lok Tite loose. So I never use it, period.

whichever one floats your boat. I hunt all over the world and I don't need another worry about something coming loose while out in the field 8000 miles away from my bottle of red Lok Tite. So I use nothing but red. If titty pink was stronger, I would use titty pink.
