Below. If you have to replace a damaged scope after securing it using the red loctite on the scope ring screws how do you loosen the screws?

You can use a heat gun to loosen loctite

I second a heat gun. Be careful what you heat though.

heat the head. Comes right loose. Softens epoxy too.

Hot Allen wrench.

I heated up a Allen wrench, put it in the socket head and it loosened it up real nice.

red hot stick in the screw for 30 seconds then I use a allen wrench that that has not been heated to remove the screw

I use red on everything except the ring screws

I use blue on them as they sometime have to be removed if a scope goes bad.
