back in the late 50s and early 60s. Many were of the Ted Williams model while others were in the J.C. Higgins brand. They are some of the best bargains on the market these days as a lot of folks have no idea that Sears, Montgomery Ward, J.C.Pennys, Woolworths, Western Auto, Western Field, K-Mart, Coast to Coast, and several other big box stores had guns made for them by Marlin, Winchester, High Standard, Springfield, Savage, Mossberg, Anschutz, Stevens, H&R, Fox, Sako, Ithaca, Colt, Remington, and several other major brands that I can't think of right now. So that Ted Williams of Doug's is actually a Winchester model 70 sold by Sears.
