Though I carry and use "pocket" knives I prefer fixed blades. It's easier to do here in Texas these days since they updated the knife laws. Still, people do look at you strangely and I hate advertising that I have "tools" on me.
In Africa I had a nice fixed blade knife on the transmission hump, next to my knee, right were I could grab it easily if I needed it.
One day I was giving a Mozambican pastor a ride home and he was looking around the truck and spotted my knife. He said to me, "Papa Jim. You have a knife!" And I said, "Yes I do." He said, "But you have Jesus." And I replied, "I have Jesus AND a knife." He had no answer for that.
This is a nice Barbecue knife.

I bought it off Amazon after I read a review some guy had posted. He said that it was strong, affordable, and had a nice rubber handle that would not take fingerprints. He added that it was cheap enough you could afford to leave it in someone's chest and just get another one,
That sold me so I bought it.
ahahahahahaha
