Desert Eagle in some fancy bronze finish. He paid something on the order of $1575 with shipping, taxes, and FFL fees. But he's tickled pink. I'd much rather see him blow money on top drawer guns rather than beer or bitches.
Our tastes differ greatly and now I sort of understand my own father's against. But we enjoy it together too.
Bet it's a hoot to shoot! Fingers crossed to see

I always wanted one. So instead I got the first Stainless 500 S&W barrel GNR made. I believe he made 2, 1 blue and 1 stainless for a magazine article. Less issues with a rim and can easily load down. Later on I heard RSR would not do any more AE barrels as there were some extraction problems.
Should add, Encore barrels

Lucifer's Hammer

Why not reintroduce Lucifer's hammer in 50 JRH. It is a proper revolver cartridge with a rim and it will fit in a standard length revolver. Starline is drawing cases and it is available in a BFR, so it is not preparatory.
I'll pass. Maybe in another caliber.

I have a Freedom Arms .50 AE with a 7 1/2 barrel and it has a lot more recoil to me than my Ruger Bisley's in .475 or .500 Linebaugh's, I don't know what pressure the .50 AE runs at but it must be up there, I just shoot factory loads out of it and its not fun! Might just be me but its pretty nasty.

the mouth of the case and the recoil is sorta stiff so you have to really do a hard taper crimp. If you do too much the case drops too far in the chamber. If you crimp too little the bullet eases out under recoil. Most of the companies that I know of glue the bullet in the case.
We were the first ones to build the 50 AE in a revolver in our Lucifer's Hammer way back in '91 or so. A good friend at IMI, the folks that made the ammo, sent me a batch of the brass just to tease me, so I had a reamer made and logos registered and built the prototype revolver and built 50 of the 50s. I may bring it back one day but the 50 AE was such a headache, I probably will pass on it.
half moon clips?

I slipped these small thin o-rings around the extractor groove on the cases. Worked like a charm!
But let's keep that our little survival secret.
during WW2 there were 45 ACP revolvers along with 1911s

so when Winchester shipped the ammo they included 3 of the 2 cartridge moon clips in with the box of ammo. This way they worked in a 6 shot cylinder revolver and taken out of the 1/3 moon clips they worked in the 1911s.

Thankfully it headspaces on the case belt so you can crimp the piss out of it with no harm. Bob said he needed a big case with little if any rim to clear the pawl gear on his M83. Seemed like a swell idea. Until he found that every different maker had varied specs on that belt (7mm,.300,.338,.458 whatever) that varied wildly from lot to lot. He had to have his own cases made to meet his very tight tolerances.
It is another interesting study in design.
I have one in the 83 w/ 7.5" octagon bbl, but I

haven't shot it yet. I have it about 2 years. I got the FA brass and plenty of hard cast bullets but need to find some time. That belted case is neat though. I just love the various 50 caliber revolvers. While they can be a handful, you don't always need to run them all out.

left side of the slide ruined any collector's value the gun has and ruined any hunting value it had. How in hell is it going in a holster. What an idiot to do that to a great hunting handgun.
I was wondering what that was
