the pandemic? I've bought 2 1911's (9mm and .22), 6 8 inch steel plates, and a nice shot timer. The shot timer is a real eye opener for me...should have bought one years ago.
Mostly 9mm at 8"steel and paper ..

hometown. Started buying Armscor, decided I liked it, then the supply dried up. Only stuff available in town today was steel cased Tula - not ready for that yet! And if I totally run out I've got at least 500 bullets and tons of brass around. Just don't find reloading 9mm fun...

Mine is my favorite plinking gun. I'd not trade mine for a NIB Freedom Arms...
I am very impressed by it!

I got out of a .450 BM that I toyed with and finally sold a DPMS LR308 that was useless to me.
I starting to feel a sort of DA wheelgun mood coming. Maybe rimfire even. Then again a traditional SA...
You should trick out a Ruger Mk IV 22

I have a MK III hunter that I might start tinkering with. Trying to find a short scope that I like, and then maybe a trigger job.
Wheelgun? Don't you have a long tube k22???

In preparation for our upcoming Madabula Safari, I've been practicing with my Reeder 500 LB until my hand swells and the fun stops. Also put a bunch of .375 Ruger downrange. The damn virus put the brakes on that trip, so I'm taking a break from the big iron and shooting .22LR and 38 Sp.
John Abraham, our PH, sent me the newest

ruling on hunting in Africa. The gist of it is no hunting in Africa this year at all. I asked John if he expects any new rules for handgunners for next year. He had no idea on that. Just the normal stuff, handgun must be at least an 8" barrel and have a scope on it. No semi autos and no rimfires. There could possibly be some changes before next spring but we won't know until after the first of the year. My Cape Buffalo hunt was supposed to be in 2 weeks but that is now down the drain. Next year hopefully.

so shooting in the Nat. Forest may be kaput. We don't have a real range, haven't had for over 26 years. We have been here for 26 years and the ranges had been shut down a year or so before that. Even the cops have to qualify at one of the cinder pits. We had the Forestry Dept give us a lot of land and even broke ground on it an then 3 couples from California filed a lawsuit and it went to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals out of San Francisco and they ruled against us. That has happened 3 times now and each time we get shut down by the assholes from California. And they don't even live within many miles of where the range was to be.
I hope to get out tomorrow and do some shooting but the forest may be shut down due to fire danger.
Wow. That may be the only plus to Illinois vs Az.
