and in that case you would want the heavier bullet to break down the shoulder bone, putting the elk on the ground. The heavier would be the Accubond 250 grain bullet.
BUT I would let the gun decide. Try a couple of different bullets and see which one your gun shoots best. Accuracy kills so go with the most accurate load.
