Read some of his hunting stories, and has some good downloads for predator hunting.
Hopefully some of you smarter than I am guys can have some fun reading about stress tests on brass, rifle actions, vibration patterns on barrels, etc.
Its way above my iq! Lol

I like his site too! Got me started coyote hunting

I once had and shot a 23/40 (improved 223 wildcat) like him. Talked to him about his experiences. Knowledgeable and all around nice fella willing to share his knowledge.

Boy this guy goes all in in. He really develops his interests leaving no guesswork. The ballistic information Varmint Al presents on his website made me purchase a CZ 452 American in .17 HMR and outfit it with a 16 power Leopoldo scope that I returned to Leopoldo to be fitted with “target” style turrets. Sometime I’d like to rebarrel my old Contender with a .17 HMR barrel, but I haven’t decided whether I want a 14 inch pistol barrel ,or a carbine barrel. Varmint Al = good man, good stuff.
