or somebody posted on here where John is now doing some guiding and booking looks EXACTLY like the Y.O. Ranch where a lot of us hunted in the old Celebrity Handgun Hunt. I talked to John today and he said it is the OX Ranch, not the Y.O. Sure fooled me. Look at these pics..
OX Ranch

YO Ranch now remember this place has been totally re-done in the last 15 years, This pic is from the second floor looking down at the big fireplace. on the left there is a painting of a cowboy. That is the door to go outside. In the OX pic the door is in the same place. Even the ceiling looks the same.Plus the rock wall behind the fireplace goes all he way to the ceiling in both pics.

They are probably different places but whomever designed the OX Ranch lodge had been a frequent visitor to the YO ranch.

Tank shootin too!

professional hunter at the OX Ranch which just happens to look like the YO ranch. Howzat?

One of the deals at the OX Ranch that John has to offer is what would be the #1 in the world handgun Bongo. In Africa it is $54000 plus $7000 license, plus your airfare and other odds & ends so figure around $75 to $80,000. The one John has would easily be the #1 handgun Bongo and is priced at $35,000 about half of what the African bongo is. So you guys with really deep pockets need to take a look at this. Alcorn is already drooling over this.

John also has the #1 in the world handgun Kudu if you have the hots for a huge Kudu. I had a top 3 Southern Greater Kudu for a while and I think still have the #1 Cape Kudu.
Here are a couple of Southern Greater Kudu, both were top 5 at one time

Here is the Cape Kudu (I can't tell the difference in the Southern Greater and the Cape)
This one was #1 for a year or so until I beat it with the one below it.

Colleen's Kudu would have been high book, probably top 3 if she had taken it with a handgun. She took it with the 458 rifle I built for her.

But John has a monster Kudu that will make all of these look like babies.

If you watch Uncle Ted, you have seen the place as

he was there a few times on his hunting show. But, not for me. The pricing is for guys that have too much money and a dumb wife.

out of the truck with her 458. She has taken more top 10 African animals than most guys have that have hunted Africa several times. She has taken Kudu, Cape Buffalo, Eland, Gemsbok, Impala, Zebra, Blesbok, Springbok, monkees, and a lot more that I can't think of right now.

also she never blinked when I told her to shoot

whatever she liked in Africa. Between the two of us we spent well over $50,000. And I never heard "a discouraging word". Now some wives might have hit the ceiling but mine didn't.

SURE FOOLED ME!
