I was able to scan more images of my family from the 1930s and 40s in regards to hunting. The images you see are of my grandfather with one of my Dad at age 3 and his brother who died at the age of 14 or so of what we believe to be leukemia.

Sorry if they are sideways. I tried to turn and save the images but for some silly reason they did not save in the last position.

So much better use of this forum...

I'd like to have one place on Earth to escape the Coronavirus Hype and minimal exposure of politics.

Great pictures too. Lots of family history there. Worth hanging on to.

thanks for your wonderful photos

With him holding a hand full of pheasants. He is wearing a shirt and tie and got the job done. Today’s hunter has to wear something that looks like a tree. And 9 out of 10 go home Skunked. Just a little humor. Pete

Yes. It was a different day and age. I recall

Old albums as well. Her father and brothers would have their shotgun s and squirrels or quail. Decked all out in coat and tie. Even on of her daddy propped up on an old plow in the field. Tie in place. I asked Mamaw if they always dressed that way. “Heck no! But they always had their picture tacked that way”

Dad worked for the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. This was his TOP GUN of the Central Unit Trophy, made from a piece of the old wall.
