Dad took Mom to Mt Rushmore and Wyoming for their honeymoon. Of course he took his Remington M740 3006 Woodsmaster he bought at Spags at the age of 16 or 17. At that time you could buy your license and deer tag over the counter in that state.

TO YOU. MY DAD WAS KILLED BEFORE I WAS A YEAR OLD AND MY MOM IN A SHORT TIME WAS A TEENAGE BRIDE,TEENAGE MOM, AND TEENAGE WIDOW.II ONLY HAVE ONE PHOTO OF MY DAD. IT IS WITH MY MOM AND THEIR OLD CAR. IT IS PRICELESS TO ME.

Misfits and their parents. I'm definitely blessed with great parents and hope they'll be around quite a while longer.

I too have some old B&W pictures of dad deer hunting with a Model 70 with iron sights. Absolutely priceless. He always wore his red flannel shirt and Levis. Simpler times, better times. We all miss that generation who taught us so much.....

What it is to me was that those times were more black and white. Now it is a big wide stripe of gray.
