My 3 grand-daughters and their guys came out and we spent the afternoon shooting. Between us we put a lot of ammo downrange and christened the firing line with lots of fired brass ... well .. fired aluminum. They were shooting a lot of Blazer stuff. But it looks good on the ground.

Mostly 9mm and 45ACP with a sprinkling of 357 Magnum.

Great time shooting with family!

The range is on my daughter's place and is less than 200 feet from the front door. Nice and handy.

Miss that so much!

Was home on leave one time, long long ago.... stepped out the front door of my folks home and a feral cat was eating a loaf of bread out of my brothers pickup bed that we had just loaded into it as we were packing up for an elk hunt. Just so happened I had a SBH .44 and BOOM! Cat was gone, bread loaf bag was messy and truck was unscathed!

Weather is hampering our fun a bit.

I rigged up (3) wooden pallets with 1/4” Sheetrock for a backer, and a prop up board. Roman and his buddies are going after Church tomorrow for a bit of fellowship and experimentation with longer range shooting. He had me load up about (35) .50 BMG rounds too. I told him not to shoot them all! That’s right at a full pound of powder. I think the boys have .308, 5.56, 7.62x39, and 6.5mm too.

Roman has a very cool dad, I must say. Lol. I hope he truly appreciates it some day. I would have just croaked. My dad did teach me to shoot, ride horses, mess with stock some. Grew up in the country. I am grateful. Praise God.

Sounds like fun! Reloading bench instead of
