My friend had me order this for him several years ago. It's what he wanted, a .22 WMR semi-auto. We sent it back once and they went through it. I went through it myself stoning and smoothing everything. It can be a little finicky with some ammo but after about 1000 rounds or more it is pretty reliable. However it is extremely accurate, under MOA usually. They make a handgun that is BIG, with the same action I believe.

I have this now since he had a little ATV mishap and broke the stock in half. Right under that word "ExcelArms". Accra-Glass to the rescue.

Excel Arms is not on my list of favorites.

I bought one of their .22 Magnum pistols last year. Excellent looking gun with a 10 round magazine. If I put more than five rounds in the magazine they would come straight up and jam up everything. We tried to lighten the spring on one which didn't help. Turn it over to my gunsmith and he gave up and ship the whole thing back to Excel. That was several months ago and we're still trying to get something out of. I really like this .22 Magnum and hope we can get it to shoot correctly.[image][image]

We had kind of the same experience.

I worked over the insides and it is as slick as they come. I removed every tool mark there was and made edges crisp. Did everything I knew how. We gave up after we sent it back to the factory and they claimed it shot fine. It is accurate! My friend finally just shot it into operating.

Colleen got me one of the CZ 22 Magnum semi autos

a couple of years ago. The CZ 512. It shoots everything I feed it and as far as i can remember has never jammed on anything.

My Rock Island 22 Magnum pistol is the same. It has never jammed and really likes the Hornady Critical Defense 22 Mag ammo.
