60 mph straight winds blew over our 50’ tall Pecan tree in the middle of the dog pen. The white box is her house. She bolted out and was under the porch swing!

It narrowly missed the boat, RV, and shop building! Praise the Lord.

I'm about 17 miles from the boarder by road to Oklahoma. No damage at my house. Flash flooding in places on Friday/Saturday. Rained most all day Sunday. I didn't have the winds WB had, but close. Rain drenched ground and 40 mph + wind is not good for trees. My house has huge pine and white oaks.

In the daylight. I have thanked God all night

It is very interesting that is was perfectly laid out to not do any real damage, a real blessing. I hate it for the kids. It was a fantastic shade and my daughter used to hang a hammock chair from it inside the dog pen and read while interacting with the dog, Lucy.

In the pen was a concrete bench that my father bought my mother some 45 years ago. The tree literally fell on it splitting the top and not touching the uprights on each side. That is kind of ominous but I'm grateful for the direction it fell.

Glad you came out unscathed in Pensil Bluff.

Good Fire wood. No shade for the dog in August and July.

The ground is so saturated that trees tump over

Stonecold is a "Traildog" and helps out with the state parks hiking trail system. He's a hard charger and mountain bikes with chainsaw in tow to cut trees off the trails. They build walk bridges and shelters etc. too. Plus he's about 10 yrs. younger than my dad would have been! He's impressive. Not long ago he had his knees replaced and it almost slowed him down for a week or two!

That's awesome good for him.

Have screws holding my right ankle together and it stays swollen to twice the size of the other one. Just being on it all day makes it worse. I can't step on rocks wrong or I'm done for.

Glad y'all are ok!
