lucky 100 yard shot with a friend's RIA 45 with GI sights last week. I think GNR's right they are hard to beat...

plain GI model and I has them install adj sights, an Rock series trigger, hammer and Grip safety. It came with a 4lb trigger that is fairly crisp.

rear and a white dot front. They had to cut a front sight dovetail. I’m not much for night sights or FO and I like white dots.

Seem to not show up well in bright sunlight or a dim indoor range...great in pitch blackness though. 4 lb trigger is not bad as long as it's crisp! Sounds like you got a good one!
