Exclusively use cci ,Winchester brand gtg? Loads worked up with cci going to differ with Winchester?

can change the outcome. As an example, when loading for the 356 GNR I have found that Win LP primers reach a max load about 1 grain of 296 before I hit that with a Fed 155 LPM primer. And that is going off of case measurement and not just what the primer shows. With mid range loads, if I find that a load shoots fair, I sometimes change the primer and note the differences. Have had some groups cut in half by doing that.

Was developed with 150gr partitions and a powder charge 1 grain off max using CCI LR primers. Never a pressure problem. I acquired a couple thousand Fed 210 primers and thought I’d try them. I loaded 10 rounds and blew 2 primers (made a divot in my bolt face).
