Does Marlin loctite the buckhorn sights in place

on the new guns? Can't get the one on my new 1894cb to budge, yet. Was going to take it off and put a blank in the dovetail. I'll get it off eventually, just curious. . .Thanks!

the breech end. I put it in my big vise and used a big hammer, still no budge. Put some drops of Kroil on each side of the dovetail and will just let it soak and tap every other day or so (both directions). Thanks Gary! It was real hard for me to abstain from that 336 you just sold...I may be turning into a Marlin guy instead of a handgun guy?

Generally, try knocking it left for off.

I prefer a brass drift and 2-3# brass hammer, good vice.

You can try a heat gun. Even a hair dryer will loosen up

To to wax the cross country skis with. I had to buy here a new one! Still have it. Use it on all kinds of stuff, but never hair. My heat gun is too hot for Some stuff.
