I bought a reeder ultimate 410 with a Leopold scope a few years ago with the intention of shooting hogs( no Bbq yet). I bought a reeder professional hunter in 500 maximum with 5 magnaports. Just got 100 rounds delivered from Colorado custom cartridges. Haven’t had the opportunity to shoot it yet though Long live reeder customs!![image]

Very Nice!

was one of my main hunting revolvers. Then Charlie Herf bought it and a while later shot a big bull elk with it. Then he got the hots for something else and traded it back in. At least I think it was that gun.

either the 500 S&W or the 500 Maximum. Pretty much the same. He said he shot 2 cylinders full and that evening he was physically ill. So like Sean said start low. I would suggest you start with a Trail Boss load. A 350 grain bullet and 14 grains of Trail Boss. Still the recoil of a mid range 500 Linebaugh but way less than the 500 Max.
