You start as a Protester waving signs and hollering chants, then if agitated by external forces one may become coerced into misdemeanor behavior and become a "Demonstrator". Finally if a group is agitated enough some "plant" anarchists might lead the Demonstrators by poor example into becoming full felonious "Rioters".

However it seems to require a mechanism to agitate the group or lead them into making the transition.
