Can the Ruger SP101 be converted to a .375 GNR ?

in a Smartcar, it just won't fit. About all that can be done with a SP101 is a .32 H&R or .327 rechambered to the bigger .321 GNR. Maybe.

The .375 GNR was done up in a few revolvers for some guys but it really does best in a short barreled single shot. It's a lot easier to live with. The cartridge is well over 2" long.

I have a D W in 375 SM That Gary is turning into the 375 GNR wait till you see him post it on here. he's going all out on that one.

I took 50 rounds and came back with 48 and 2 Sika deer. I could not be more pleased with the cartridge and platform.
Started out as a 357 Maximum for a base gun.

I thought I read in Gary's book(Hunting Handguns and their Cartridges, Pg. 201) that you could re-chamber it to a .356 GNR or .41 Mag., .41 sp., or the .44 sp., it was just wishful thinking, or hoping, that I might get away with going to the .375.
