I still do not understand, even if it was real, why Ms Barrow would think the BAR's were hers as they were stolen from National Guard Armories. The pistols may have been as well. Am I wrong?
Probably wanted them

be in a museum with Bonnie & Clyde's guns or in some high dollar collector's collection. Even the shirt Clyde wore, bullet holes and blood included, was considered a collector's item. In fact I think that shirt was either sold or auctioned off a while back for big bucks.
here is the shirt auction

and the shirt. Both Bonnie & Clyde got hit around 50 times each so their clothing tended to be a bit ragged.

That was purchased from the museum in the little LA town close to where they were killed in 1934. It’s a partial reprint and general info source, old photos, articles, bounty notices etc. from the day. My friend bought the newspaper about 20 yrs. ago from the little museum and brought it for me to see. He also took a photo of the roadside marker where they were actually killed.
I’ve seen it before. Fun to research. I think I also saw notice about his mother trying to get them back in the day. They mentioned it on the TV documentary about Hammer.
it could be real. There were so many people

trying to make money off items connected to both Bonnie and Clyde that I am sure there were a lot of fakes going around.
