At my age and what I have seen and suspect about nursing homes and assisted living facilities I am of the opinion being sent to one is akin to being enrolled in hospice. Especially in high rise multi story facilities that increase the chance for the spread of anything from flu to athletes foot. Remember Legionaire's disease?
Another disease that spread rapidly from crowded facilities.
