It could very well have been the same circuit car! LOL That would be really rich. I was thinking it was a Packard but later learned Clyde was a Ford man. Maybe just my imagination. That $1 memory has indeed lasted a long time.
I also saw these guys riding motorcycles and go-carts in a barrel and this metal mesh ball. That was FANTASTIC. The motorcycles were all single cylinder Indian "Scout" bikes. An odd choice. The mesh ball bikes were all XR75 Honda's. An admirable decision. Much, much later Mark Hall was introduced to me at HHC in TN. A very nice man of unique smarts. He actually knew the "Wall of Death" circuit riders and did the mechanical re-builds on their old antique bikes they use! A great circle of events. He's really sharp on bullet casting and alloys too.
