My wife just went through breast cancer in both breasts. She was very blessed to find them early. She is tough and thinks things through and decided on double mastectomy with no reconstruction. She is doing fantastic by the way.
Her oncologist advised her that it would be in the best interest of her health to wear the masks in public. So she does. It makes HER feel better to do so. So I wear one for her sake. To keep her well? No. To keep her at peace? Absolutely! Some will argue it is a false sense of protection and I believe that is true. But there is so much I cannot do to help her. If wearing a silly mask make her feel better I am damn sure not going to argue about it.
I do not believe it is ok to force anyone to wear one. But why does somone who doesn’t choose to care if the next guy does? That I don’t understand.
Coward? I was when I thought cancer was taking my wife. But not so much now. Compliant? When my job made requirements I followed them. Self righteous? Not hardly. I know I’m deserve the depths of hell. But am thankful I finally found Jesus’ love.
Just my side of it.
yes, WB (AKA Scott Boggs) does get whooped on

Those with no medical necessity in the first place.
Same as motorcycle helmet laws. I think you are a barking idiot for not wearing the very best full coverage with eye protection. But to make it a government edict for the greater good? No, that’s not right.
I think we are in agreement.
God continue to bless you and your wife. I understand the mental incapacitation of a cancer diagnosis. I pray for continued healing physically AND mentally. It’s fantastic you are a supportive husband.
We are good. Just another perspective.

issuing tickets. As far as I know Walmart, or any other business is private property. The sidewalk, park, and highway are public, so obviously open air areas would require a mask.
I thought the pandemic ended when the riots
