$4 worth of brass! No telling how many steel case 5.45x39 I threw in the woods. Croc slippers are horrible convenience footwear, downright dangerous. But I can step around in the grass and find brass, even tell a .45 vs a 9mm. Their only favorable quality, other than they float maybe.

Cabela's has camo Crocs on sale right now

in my masculinity and complete lack of self pride. Daddy is done. Keep clear when he is operating machinery or muttering to himself. lol

Mythbusters ran a lawn mower through a patch of gravel and tested the velocity of gravel slung by the lawnmower. I forget the weight of the rocks but it was equal to a heavy pistol or more, and recorded 400 fps! It might not kill you but it sure could blind or hurt you bad! They were seeing it if could kill someone. Maybe, maybe not.

I wont poke fun at your masculinity, but damn

It's usually whatever is left on the porch. Those shoes are deadly on ice and snow, let mud and poop poke in the ends at very bad times, and offer little piercing protection. But I guess it's better than barefooted.

When I was a kid I used to walk miles barefooted on rocky paths and gravel. Probably got me wormy even. I can't do that now days. Plus we got that horrible spur weeds mixed in the yard grass. In TX they have that terrible sand burr, equally bad. A prick of either makes me itch terribly.

and we won't ask why the goats are afraid of him....

difference will it make?" I throw that much brass away every week and lose no sleep over it. A man has to know what things are important in life. Again as john would say, "Friends, Faith, Family and Firearms". Nowhere in there does it mention old brass.

When I mow the range it’s like machine gun of flying debris

Flying toward vehicles, the shop, dog pen, etc. Peckerwood needs to police the range area so I don’t hit that stuff. Both valuable brass pieces and worthless steel case military hulls. I’ve told him.

(100) fired 10mm cases are worth over $30. I remember as a youth walking ditches looking for glass bottles at 5 cents deposit to go buy me a 55 cent box of .22 LR. (10) Coke bottles and I was gold, something for nothing basically. This generation must learn not to be wasteful and understand value.
