out) about their guns not being done yet. We are doing the best we can. I am down 2 men but I still have 5 guys working for me and they are working their young asses off. I have had some health problems the last couple of months that have kept me occupied and haven't been worth a damn. The engraving is 90% of what I have been doing other than talking to customers (friends) on the phone. Nate has been doing double duty, doing his job and most of mine and for that i am forever grateful. But if you have a gun or guns in here (almost 200 guns in 11 safes here waiting on getting done), the parts shortages are slowing us down more than anything. We probably have 20 guns sitting in pieces waiting on a $20 part to complete them.

But we are getting 3 or 4 guns out every week and sometimes more than that, so hang in there. I apologize for things running behind, but if you have a custom gun in mind, my recommendation is, get it to me as soon as you can so it can get in line to be worked on. Good Lord willing we WILL get it done, probably a little longer than you plan on but it will get done. You have my word on that.

That grinds my gears

I had a feeling you were down-playing your recent sickness; gutting through it for your customers. I've been around and I can say without equivocation that you, Bwana, have the greatest work ethic I've ever experienced. No doubt in my mind or any other true Misfit/Raider's mind that you are getting it done as quickly, and correctly as humanely possible under the current constraints. This kind off "ass-chewing" is ants at a picnic. Nobody enjoys a protracted wait, but 9 women can't make a baby in a month. My safe is full of GNRs and everyone was worth the wait. When I reflect on the extra care you took to ensure my customs were perfected before shipment, especially my 410GNR Redhawk, I BELIEVE in your passion. My message to those who are getting anxious is to be patient, as it will be richly rewarded.

I've known GNR for 18 years. I agree with you Greg.

I had the guys put a different stock 45 colt cylinder and a 4 5/8" barrel on a blackhawk I had that had a 7.5" barrel and oversized throats on the stock cylinder. The pistol was built in 1980 and maybe .454 was standard that year, but since all my other stock rugers are running .450 or so. I thought to get one sized up and a shorter barrel put on sounded prudent. shoots great and got it quick.

Thanks a lot Gary. I appreciate you guys.
