wobbles or is just worn out, recently I invested a little money (actually a lot of money) in tooling that will let us build new cylinders for the Colt SAA. We finished the first one this morning and it is tighter than a new gun. The cylinder in the picture is an unfluted one but it will be fluted and blued when we finish with it. You can have it unfluted or fluted. Mainly I wanted to let you know we now can build brand new cylinders for the old Colt SAAs in whatever caliber you want, and no we won't build it in 454. The one shown is in 45 Long Colt and the rig has a .002 barrel cylinder gap and is tighter than new. So there you go. The new cylinders are $350 and we do not keep them in stock as every old Colt is different. We build them to fit each individual gun.
