How much does the porting help? I'm sure the higher pressure guns have more advantage with ports?
Looks like a great setup...
Mountain gun by magnaport back in the 80's It greatly reduced muzzle flip but recoil was still stout. I did not like the blast from the ports and it seemed like muzzle blast noise nearly doubled and the flash was blinding in low light conditions. Finally replaced the barrel with a 8 3/8" non-ported bbl. Gary's porting might be different
