of their head what bullet this is? The maker and mould? I bought a pallet of “scrap lead” from a friend and it turned out to be bullets in 3# steel coffee cans! I’m only having to lube/size them. I really like this one for .38/357, it works in 9mm too but the body is a bit long for the internal case taper. You can’t generally seat it in the 9 all the way as you’d typically like. But close, and it runs a well in about anything.

This batch is getting sized 0.358” and running about 132-133 grs. For fun I noted adding lube to the raw bullets adds 0.3 grs.

I wonder how long ago he cast those.

There are some neat obsolete designs mixed in there. An odd .45 Colt Wadcutter and some old stand bys I’m familiar with. 9mm, .38, .41 etc.

I gave him $350 for the pallet of lead which included the good shape 20# RCBS production pot. A pretty good deal.
