Anyone try a Stoeger STR-9 as of yet?

I've never seen one in the flesh but the ergonomics look very interesting. Sort of a mash up of a G19, and HK. If the Taurus is not available I wonder if it's a good substitute? I really like the shape of it externally.

stick with the Taurus. If you like a gun larger than the G2C

compact then go with the G3 in 9mm. Stoeger guns are decent but they have always been iffy on parts should you ever need them and Taurus has a lifetime warranty and the gun is made in Bainbridge Ga. at their new plant. Holds 16 rounds.Great gun, very reliable, made in the U.S. and well under $300. I don't think you can beat it for value and quality.

Turkey is making some very good looking and good running guns these days, all sorts of shotguns (CZ, Stevens, etc.) too. I'm just not feeling it though.
