Bought a Canik 9mm SF Elite this morning...

Went with the intention of buying a Taurus G3. But, once I wrapped my hand around the Canik, it was a done deal.

Sadly, I bought this gun with a mentality that some may think puts me in the same group as the rioters. But, truth is, I don't trust cops at all. I don't believe the hype about them shooting people in the face, racism, etc. I do believe that if they confiscate a really nice gun, even when used to protect yourself, you're not ever going to see it again. I've got too many folks "known to me" in law enforcement and gun sales not to know how this works.

This gun points perfectly and works like a champ. If I've gotta give up a gun, just as soon as it be an economy model.

Anyone can slander me if they like. I'm conservative, not naive.
