Aluminum Blocks under Reloading Press #1...
I posted pictures of some aluminum plate I had acquired a few days back. My intention was to build resting plates for my Reloading Presses to sit on.
I decided it best to do the easy one first. I rarely use this press for anything except depriming cases.
Plating is 5/8" thick, so doubt this press ever moves.
Blocks were fastened in a vice and all edges and corners were rounded with a file. After being cut with a saw, they were quite sharp. Two extra holes were drilled in the back to increase the footprint of the press. All bolts are bottomed by fender and flat washers before nuts were put on the bolts...
