I’m running a 410 GNR in a 11” Encore barrel. I’m looking to shoot some milder cast loads in it. I have a 195 HP, 195 SWC and 240 SWC mold. I was looking for some loads with something like Unique. Anyone have a starting place? I’ve got a good hunting load with H-110, but looking for an off season “plinking” load.

Sean may have some lighter loads

the 410 GNR is based on the 454 Casull brass

so if you can find a light load for the 454, drop a grain and it should be fine for the 410 GNR. Just never load any light loads with ball powder like 296, H-110, 1680 and such.

Try 4227 with a magnum primer, that should do it.

I know it's goofy but with cast Trail Boss is lots of fun. A little smokey but it works well in the GNR rounds of that size.

4227 clams the roound down a lot to me
