Is there a problem using a 4x Leupold scope on a 22 rifle?
I still like a fixed power scope...

crosshairs are a bit thick and cover up the critter. I like to use a scope meant for a rimfire rifle. I like a fixed power scope but out here the Kaibab squirrels go to the top of a Ponderosa pine and bark at you and you need a bit more power to even spot him.

I thought I read somewhere that there could be a parallax problem with using a scope designed for large caliber rifles on a rimfire.
If the only drawback is large crosshairs,I've got no problem. THX
