Reeder Custom Guns

Finally got a g1 frame for my 338 gnr barrel, problem.is it wont lock shut. If the pivot pin isnt in it will lock, but the pin wont go in. Its like the barrel is hitting the frame before it gets closed completely. Im new to this, so any ideas would help.

parts and for all practical purposes every new barrel has to be fit to the frame. The old days of buying a barrel at a gun show and dropping it on the frame are pretty much gone, unless the barrel and frame are both at least 10 years old. S&W bought out TC a while back and just hasn't got the hang of making the small parts like TC used to. They will eventually but for now the barrel will have to be fit to the frame. Send it to me and we will fit it for you no charge. All you will be out is the shipping.
